Church, and More Sightseeing

This morning, Gavrel and I ventured out on our own for a while and headed to church! I'm afraid I didn't get a picture of the service or the building where it was, but it was fun. All in German. Afterward, we met Ye Ye and Nai Nai at the Brandenburg Gate for a little more sightseeing, including a boat tour. Here's some pictures from today:

Brandenburger Tor - the old royal gate of the original walled city of Berlin.

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe

Brandenburger Tor from the back side with the Hotel Adlon in the background.

Part of the Reichstag through the trees from the Tiergarten Park.

"For the German People"

Reichstag - the German Parliamentary Building

Sculptures on a bridge.

Berliner Dom - the State Church cathedral.

Fernsehturm - TV Tower - from Soviet Era East Germany

St. George fighting the dragon.

Just cool, tradition-looking German row buildings. Businesses and cafes on street level, apartments upwards from there.

And back to the Dom from the other side.
