Heading Home

I have so much to tell you about our trip - but it will have to wait until we're back in East Tennessee. We brought my computer along, but it's running Jonny's hard drive (yeah, that's how we roll), so I don't have all my pictures organized and easily accessible right now. I'll get there soon, promise.

We're heading home in the morning (evening where most of you are, I guess). I've been asked several times in the last 24 hours if I'm looking forward to going home.

The answer is yes and no. I'm looking forward to being back in our own space. Our own home. Knowing where things are. Having what I need at hand. Getting Gavrel back into a more regular schedule. Not living out of a suitcase.

But I will miss this city - this environment. We love big cities. We love the action and accessibility in cities. I always have worse culture shock heading back to East Tennessee than I do being away from it. And above all other big cities, we love Hong Kong. We'll miss it.

We know we are in the right place at the right time, so we will stay put until Jesus directs us elsewhere. Part of us will stay here. But for now, we're heading home.
