What to do - Revealed!

Remember the peaches? Want to know what I did with them?

I made smoothies!

I started by pitting, slicing, and peeling the peaches and sticking them in the freezer overnight. I'm a pretty simple smoothie girl: frozen fruit, yogurt, and fruit juice. I also like just a little granola in it, but that didn't make the picture.

Yes, I have a dedicated smoothie blender. For all you skeptics out there, I love it! One of my most-used small kitchen appliances. Yes, it's Mickey Mouse. Don't judge.

I ended up with about 4 cups of frozen peach slices:

To round out the mix, I added 2 cups of yogurt (I happened to just have vanilla on hand, but flavored would be good too), 1 1/2 cups of cranberry juice (again, what I have on hand), and about 1/2 cup of granola. If you're trying this out at home, the granola is optional - I just like the little bit of saltiness it adds.

After blending, I put some into my handy-dandy Tupperware popsicle molds. They make an awesome evening little-something-sweet.

Yes, those are Mickey Mouse too. Don't judge.

Then there was enough for an afternoon snack for me:

And one for breakfast tomorrow. Yep. I have a Tupperware for everything!

I usually make smoothies with mixed berries, but the peaches was a nice change. Again, I use the same ratios whenever I make smoothies, but with whatever sounds good or I find in my fridge. It's an awesome way to multi-purpose/use up odds and ends.

And just a shout out: I've never been a fan of smoothie shops, because I like my own better. But I've changed my tune since discovering Keva Juice in Turkey Creek. They actually use real frozen fruit! Love it! I would single-handedly keep them in business if I could afford to. Check them out:
