Site Construction

Recently I've been pretty amazed to watch the audience of my blog expand pretty significantly. People I don't know at all are checking in on my musings, and several of you out there have linked from your blog to mine or are reposting via facebook.

I'm humbled that so many people are interested in my life and my Monkey Man, and the teacher in me wants to be as helpful as I can. In an effort to do this, I've been slowly working at reformatting things around here. You may have noticed the newer, easier-to-remember url (that was my "Happy You're About to Have a Baby" present from my IT consultant hubby), which will hopefully make it easier to share.

I'm also working on adding new tabs with helpful information. My latest is "Mommy-ing." Parenting involves a lot of decisions, and I've been getting frequent questions about some of mine. This is an attempt to share my mommy-ing choices and empower you to make your own. There are some links and resources, a lot of my own story, and my own recommendations and encouragements. PLEASE let me know if there is anything else you would like to see on this page (leave a comment or email me). I'm not a parenting expert, but I am a teacher at heart who loves to share what I've learned along the way.

I hope you are inspired in your own mommy-ing.

likin' your mom section there, katie. it's weird to me that you felt so much pressure about formula...I really can't say I experienced that. maybe it's because I delivered with a bunch of hippie midwives? somethin to be thankful for, I suppose.

lovin your experiential-acquired wisdom. keep it comin.
