As of Memorial Day weekend, Gavrel has finally met all of his grandparents (including greats, but that's another post).

Jon's parents go by Yeye and Nainai - the Chinese for paternal grandpa and grandma - and my parents are Opa and Oma - the German for grandpa and grandma. We thought it would be kind of fun to reflect our personal second (or in Jon's case, third) languages.

Gavrel met Oma at about 17 hours old.

Nainai came at 8 days.

Opa met Gav at 2 1/2 weeks.

And we made it to see Yeye at 7 1/2 weeks.

Being the first grandchild on both sides (and the first great on two), we fully expect that he will be spoiled rotten! :-) Love you all!
