Oh, the Things I Overhear

Jon to the beagle:

"Nellie, did you break it? You must've, because we need a scapegoat. Problem is, there aren't any goats around here. The good news is, the scapegoat gets to live. However, I will have to drop you off in the wilderness."

This is what Jonny's 90-day Bible reading plan is producing in our house...

Katie! yo, just sent you an email literally 10 seconds ago and here I am showing up on your blog. Way to show that pie crust who's boss, by the way.

I must be biblically illiterate...but I was educated at Bethel University ;) ...huh...anyway, is Jon alluding to dropping off Ishmael and Hagar in the wilderness?

Hey Rach! And here I thought my Bethel College/University degree was doing me pretty well. :-)

Scapegoats are described in Leviticus 16:8-10, 20-22. Leviticus isn't clear, however, if it works on beagles or not.
